A thorough site analysis has been undertaken of the site and its surroundings as part of preparing these proposals, to ensure that the scheme responds positively to the site's opportunities whilst respecting its constriants to ensure that the proposal is appropriate to its local context and respects the character of the area.

A photographic site analysis of the area has also been undertaken, to identify local design influences to inform the appearance of the proposed houses.

Evolution of the proposals

Discussions are ongoing with the Planning Authority to discuss the layout and design approach for this site. As part of this process the site layout has been updated and amended to respond to issues of identified importance, to ensure that the proposals meet local aspirations.
