The draft masterplan shows our current suggestion for the comprehensive development of the site:

• 170 residential dwellings (145 being family houses)
• 60 units of extra care / sheltered accommodation
• Restoration, conversion and extension of the Mansion House to the hotel, care home or office use
• Restoration of the Brook Lane Gate Lodge to residential use.

The draft masterplan also shows the possible location of the following community facilities:

• Swimming pool, including fitness centre / gym
• Sports Pitches
• Pavillion, including changing rooms and community meeting room
• Allotments
• Cemetary

• Car park for users of the community facilities
• Retention of woodland areas and open space for informal recreational use.

The land for the community facilities will be transferred to the Council and in most cases they will be responsible for providing these facilities. However, dependant on the overall viability, it is possible that the pitches and pavillion maybe provided by Miller Homes / HCA

These proposals represent our interpretation of the proposals set out in the SPD, however these have not been endorsed by Fareham Borough Council. Your views and feedback of these proposals are welcomed as part of informing the development process.

The proposals were reviewed by an independant Design Review Panel. The Panel were supportive of the rationale behind the design and subject to a few matters of detail they were happy with the overall design approach.
